Our mission is to provide compassionate, high quality care for our patients and their families through advanced diagnostics and treatments, continuing staff training and most importantly through educating our clients so that they can make informed decisions regarding their pet's health care. Client Coordinators partner closely with the doctors and veterinary teams. They ensure the smooth flow of operation in the hospital, work directly with clients, manage busy phone lines, keep excellent electronic medical records, oversee patient census and handle billing/insurance. Client Coordinators have a deep commitment to providing exceptional customer service as their career focus. We are seeking a stable, dedicated professional looking for a long-term career. Essential Functions:
Excellent customer service with strong communication skills Ability to follow our Bill of Rights for patients, clients, hospital and community Independent self starter Compassionate patient and client interactions Ability to answer high volume calls efficiently and confidently Ability to adapt and respond to different situations and personalities Demonstrate extreme attention to detail, well developed organizational skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Preparation and maintenance of medical records Taking detailed messages, documenting medically relevant information, and ensuring follow thru with client questions/concerns Appointment scheduling and management Ability to operate point of sale software by collecting payments, sales of food and medications Taking refill requests from clients Explaining Pet Crossing's standards of practice Understand how pet insurance works and the benefits to clients Actively participate in medical rounds and learning opportunities Attend all monthly staff meetings
Job Requirements:
Customer service experience in a professional environment Known for dependability, attention to detail and willingness to work hard High school diploma or GED Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Maintaining a stationary position, reaching and bending for up to 12 hours
Responsible, Dependable and Professional Schedule:
