What You Will Do Provide nursing services in accordance with state regulations, federal guidelines, and community policies Participate in pre-admission assessments for prospective residents Complete admission, monthly, and periodic resident assessments for functional and cognitive status Review and update resident assessments and care plans with any change in condition Administer and document medications following the Five Rights of medication administration Review and transcribe physician orders accurately and timely Assist physicians during resident examinations as needed Coordinate resident medical, dental, and laboratory appointments Support compliance with all personnel policies and community procedures Participate in staff development and ongoing training programs Implement Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness procedures during drills and emergencies Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Supervisory Responsibilities This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to exercise sound judgment while working independently. The RN will supervise, direct, and review the work of associates in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care departments.
