To learn more about us, visit our webpage at https://www.insightmedservices.com/ Position Overview and Responsibilities We are a rapidly growing company with an immediate opening for a Front Desk/Patient Services Representative at our Richfield, MN store. The Front Desk/Patient Services Representative will follow the patient intake process & manage patient orders. This position is responsible for onboarding and processing new patients as well as managing in-store sales. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with patients, staff, and other departments. Employees in this role are expected to ensure a high level of service delivery by prioritizing customer satisfaction, resolving service issues, and adapting to the changing needs of the store on a day-to-day basis . NOT REMOTE. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers warmly and develop rapport to encourage repeat business. Handle telephone calls, emails and faxed DME orders. Assist customers finding products on shelves or order from catalog. Verify insurance(s). Able to call insurance companies to assess coverage. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements including HIPAA. Work assigned Resupply patient orders and maintain active prescriptions. Review and verify required elements for a valid prescription and other order paperwork. Build strong relationships with external parties (Clinic staff & other providers) to improve patient care. Process orders as requested. Provide timely follow-up with patients/caregivers when needed. Schedule deliveries and pick up of medical equipment and medical supplies. Ensures that the documentation required for reimbursement is secured in a timely manner. Works with vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Be a team player. Assist other team members/teams when needed.REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED required or preferred Associate/Bachelor Degree Experience in Medical receptionist preferably with insurance verification or DME experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be a proactive individual who can multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality Competent computer skills (Experience with electronic medical record systems or CRM) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and the ability to adapt to new processes and system changes as needed in a growing environment Employment is contingent upon a drug screening test and background investigation Insight Medical Services is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.Job Type:
