Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Dental Patient Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This position is for one day a week (plus vacation coverage) and possibly more in the future. This vital role combines exceptional customer service with efficient administrative support, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental office operations. Your expertise will help facilitate appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical documentation review, contributing to the overall success of our dental practice. This position is very part time, one day a week, very flexible on what day. Our practice is open Tuesday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm. We are a smaller practice and privately owned. How You'll Make a Difference Be the first point of contact for patients and families, offering a warm and professional welcome. Answer phone calls with empathy and efficiency, helping patients feel heard and supported. Schedule appointments and coordinate with clinical staff to keep things running smoothly. Verify insurance and collect payments with accuracy and transparency. Support registration and check-in processes, ensuring patients feel prepared and informed. Keep electronic health records updated and organized. Maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming front desk environment. Assist with billing and claims when needed. Help resolve patient questions or concerns in a respectful and timely manner. Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure excellent service delivery. Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is advantageous. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing multiple responsibilities. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
