Job Description

Job Overview On Fairview's Home Medical Equipment (FHME) team , we strive to help each patient reach optimal independence, health, and comfort. Do you enjoy supporting patients, solving problems, and connecting with resources in a friendly environment? The DME Service Coordinator Lead is responsible for the same duties as the DME Service Coordinator; additionally, serving as a resource for questions from staff regarding procedures. This position assists in training, education and monitoring compliance/comprehension of procedures by staff. The DME Service Coordinator Lead also performs a variety of clerical functions, as well as coordinates daily deliveries for the FHME drivers. The DME Service Coordinator portion of the role ensures processes are in place to support an exceptional customer service experience, high quality therapeutic equipment is available and easy to understand and use, and DME equipment and processes are effectively integrated into business and clinical operations. This position coordinates care protocols and DME set-ups for Home Medical Equipment patients.
Location:
University Crossing at 2200 University Ave in St Paul.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm As part of the Fairview system, this role if fully benefit eligible. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage. We encourage staff development and support continuing education. All training will be provided if needed to include patient care, insurance guidelines and documentation requirements. Required Qualifications Associate of Science in Healthcare or equivalent work experience 1 year working in clinic setting Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) within 30 Days Preferred Qualifications
B.S./B.A.
