We're looking for a Financial Coordinator who also thrives in the Patient Care Coordinator role , someone who can guide patients not just through scheduling and logistics, but through one of the most important decisions they'll make, committing to their health. The Role This role sits at the intersection of: Patient experience Communication Decision-making Accountability You are often the person who helps a patient move from: "I'm not sure" → "I'm ready to start." You'll help patients understand their care plan, navigate financial decisions, and feel confident saying yes to the care they need. What Success Looks Like In this role, success is measurable and meaningful.
You will be responsible for:
Helping patients commit to care (case acceptance) Converting inquiries into scheduled new patients Supporting patients through completion of their care plans Offering and guiding patients through package and prepaid options Ensuring strong collections and financial clarity Re-engaging patients who have fallen out of care This isn't about pressure, it's about clarity, trust, and follow-through . What You'll DoGuide Patients Through Decisions Clearly explain treatment plans in a way patients understand Help patients connect their goals to their care plan Support confident, informed decisions about starting care Lead Financial Conversations with Confidence Explain insurance, costs, and options without hesitation Help patients understand the value of their care Offer package plans and prepaid options when appropriate Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed, not confused Create a Seamless Patient Experience Welcome patients and guide them through each step of their visit Manage scheduling, check-in, and check-out efficiently Keep communication clear between patients and providers Own the Details Handle billing, insurance verification, and documentation accurately Maintain organized systems and patient records Support clinic flow and daily operations Support the Clinical Team Assist with therapies when needed (laser, stim, PEMF) Help maintain clean, organized treatment spaces Contribute to a smooth, team-centered workflow Follow Through Reach out to patients who cancel or don't schedule Reconnect with patients who have paused care Encourage referrals and reviews through strong relationships What We're Looking For You don't need to have done this exact job before, but you do need to: Be comfortable talking about money in a clear, respectful way Communicate with confidence and empathy Take ownership of your role and your results Stay organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment Be someone others can rely on consistently Care about helping people follow through on what they need The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here You don't wait to be told what to do You take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks You care about doing things the right way, not the easy way You want to grow, improve, and be part of a strong team You find purpose in helping people make meaningful changes Why MN Spine and Sport We are a patient-first, results-driven clinic We focus on relationships, not transactions We create an experience that patients don't find anywhere else We invest in our team's growth and development We do work that genuinely improves people's lives Our Mission To help people Move Better.
