Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Clinical Manager, Emergency Room for an exciting Local job in Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities Provide daily strategic direction and clinical management for the main Emergency Department, ensuring a seamless continuum of patient care. Oversee departmental budgeting, manage productivity metrics, monitor variances, and maintain operations within budgetary guidelines. Manage personnel functions including hiring, onboarding, staff development, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and retention initiatives. Ensure departmental compliance with all local, state, federal, and hospital regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures to support quality patient outcomes. Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for Emergency Department staff. Facilitate collaboration between physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Support quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and operational excellence objectives. Monitor staffing effectiveness and resource utilization to maintain efficient department operations. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Required Qualifications Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) License or active Compact RN License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) certification required within one year of hire. Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department management experience in an acute care setting. Preferred Qualifications Board certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or Nursing Leadership. Experience in a high-volume Level I or Level II Trauma Center. Strong leadership, budgeting, and operational management experience. Experience driving quality improvement, patient safety, and staff engagement initiatives. Excellent communication, collaboration, and team development skills.
