Job Description

Hospitality Supervisor - Osage View
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for delivering an exception guest experience across all areas of Osage View, with a primary focus on restaurant front of house operations. This role serves as a hands-on leader dedicated to customer service, team support, and overall guests' satisfaction while also acting as the on-site manager in the absence of other leadership personnel. The ideal candidate is energetic, service-driven, highly visible on the floor and passionate about creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this position successfully, the team member must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Regularly engage with guests, monitor feedback and implement improvements to elevate the overall customer experience. Address customer complaints or service issues with urgency and professionalism. Ensure cleanliness, organization and presentation standards are consistently upheld. Ensure clear communication among all staff members regarding procedural updates, menu changes and specials. Ensure all areas of the restaurant and bar are kept clean and sanitary and that food and safety standards are met. Implement and maintain a thorough training program for front of house staff to include Hosts, Servers and Bartenders. Assist with staffing coordination, shift supervision and end of shift closing duties. Support and coach staff to maintain excellent service standards. Monitor the venue's event calendar and ensure proper staffing levels to meet guests needs. Oversee reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Serve as on-site manager when senior leadership is unavailable. Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) This position requires a high school diploma. This position requires work experience and abilities in the following areas: Superior customer service skills Experience working the front of house in a full-service restaurant or other position in the hospitality industry Strong leadership skills and the ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates and other employees Ability to identify problems and determine the best course of action for their resolution Ability to communicate effectively with guests and other co-workers to reach a common goal Strong work ethic with ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to think and act quickly in the event of an emergency Exceptional organizational skills A proven track record of punctuality and dependability Ability to maintain professionalism and diplomacy when resolving problems Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, letters, procedures, financial statements Ability to work with little or no supervision Ability to critically evaluate information for accuracy and usefulness in solving problems Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to work in varying conditions Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, letters, procedures and financial statements Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed according to venue schedule State Technical College of Missouri is an Equal Opportunity, Equal Employment Opportunity organization and does not discriminate against any protected class in our educational programs, activities, or employment opportunity.
