SUMMARY:
SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of Nursing Leadership; the Patient CareSupervisor (PCS) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, organizing, and evaluating the effectiveness of daytoday infusion center operations in accordance with health system objectives, policies, standards, and rules/regulations. Under the indirect supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the PCS is responsible for providing the community with access to highquality, affordable outpatient infusion services and preserving the treatment centers financialsustainability. The PCS will collaborate with the Director to interview and train all new employees. The PCS will utilize independent decision making, frequently while monitoring operations with minimal assistance/supervision. The PCS will ensure the patients are receiving highly specialized ambulatory infusion/injection services andadditional nursing support with specialty medications (i.e., chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products etc.) to patients whilemaintaining the highest professional standards of care.
EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years relevant work experience. Two (2) years chemotherapy and biologics administration experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Ambulatory infusion therapy services experience. Management/ supervisory experience.
OTHER:
Excellent decision making, problem solving, organization, independence of action, written/oral communication, teamwork, customer service and information technology skills.

Required:
Bachelors - Nursing
