Our team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join our team in St. Louis, MO. Essential Functions :
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting in person or over the phone. Schedules appointments and transportation. Prepares daily client update sheets and sends appointment reminders. Provide patients with support and guidance as needed. Maintains accurate and up-to-date information in the patient's EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Manages medical record requests. Processes payments, records and invoices to reconcile with finance. Maintains necessary documentation and facilitates communication with providers to request authorizations for third-party payers and prior authorizations for nursing homes. Provides clinic-related correspondence to third-party billing company. Maintains a safe and clean reception area.
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. At least 3 years related experience required. Experience working in physician's office or customer-facing experience in the healthcare field preferred. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including knowledge of Excel.
