• Full-time Exceptional Leader Needed This position will lead day service staff in providing specialized sensory, motor, cognitive, communicative social interactive, and behavioral support to promote skill development in adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities.

The team leader will deliver and will ensure the staff deliver services with compassion and respect. Essential Functions Lead and supervise staff Train staff Oversee and manage services for a site Develop daily schedules Develop program plans Provide written input for ISP outcomes Advocate for customers Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and staff Develop and maintain relationships with customer's service coordinator, families and residential provider Effectively market and network with referral sources Ensure compliant DMH waiver requirements Embrace, follow and practice HCBS principles Provide direct service to customers as needed Foster a work culture of positive accountability Effectively deliver constructive feedback Responsibilities Maintain customer and site records Model performance which exemplifies the team mission and organizational philosophy Lead team meetings One on one meetings with team members Demonstrate consistent problem solving skills Utilize polite, professional and clear communication skills Accept and act appropriately upon constructive feedback Maintain a professional appearance at all times Strong verbal and written communication skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred Two years of direct service experience with people who have disabilities Two years of supervisory experience Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, scanning, file maintenance) Benefits Annual raise 401(k) Health insurance Section 125 (cafeteria plan) Life insurance Disability insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid orientation Paid training Paid time off Personal days Hiring referral program Schedule Weekdays Daytime hours
