Job Description

Overview Join our team at CoastKids Pediatric Dentistry as a Patient Coordinator and Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences. In this engaging role, you will be the friendly face and efficient organizer that keeps our clinic running smoothly. Your proactive approach will ensure patients and parents feel welcomed and their needs are addressed promptly. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix and coordinating care plans effectively Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification to facilitate accurate billing and collections Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear communication and appointment reminders Maintain accurate medical records, including documentation review, and filing of patient information Assist with medical billing and collections, ensuring timely processing of payments and follow-up on outstanding balances Support front desk operations by managing patient intake, answering inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, and maintaining a clean, organized office environment Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or as a medical receptionist in a clinic or dental setting Excellent customer service skills Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (10 key), and health information management software Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Strong organizational skills with clerical experience in filing, documentation review, and office management tasks Ability to handle high-volume phone calls with professionalism while maintaining attention to detail during intake and scheduling processes Join us in making a difference by providing compassionate support to our patients while ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
