Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM Join Our Team! Alpenglow Physical Therapy is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our growing team. As the first voice and face of our clinic, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience while ensuring our schedule remains optimized to help as many patients as possible receive the care they need. Position Summary The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for managing front desk operations, patient scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, collections, and overall schedule management. The primary objectives of this role are to: Maintain a full and efficient clinic schedule Reduce waitlists and fill upcoming appointment openings Ensure patients remain compliant with their plan of care Collect 100% of point-of-service patient payments Deliver an exceptional patient experience Support communication between patients, providers, billing, and administrative teams This is a highly responsible position requiring independent decision-making, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Administrative Management (Top Priority) Proactively fill current and upcoming schedules to maintain optimal provider utilization Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Manage waitlists and fill appointment openings efficiently Coordinate patient plans of care with clinical staff to ensure appropriate scheduling frequency Reach out to past patients regarding continued care opportunities Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations Maintain accurate patient records, intake forms, and treatment documentation Ensure 100% collection of patient financial responsibility at the time of service Monitor schedule utilization and work toward maintaining maximum schedule efficiency Patient Experience & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and prospective patients Provide outstanding customer service that reflects Alpenglow Physical Therapy's mission, values, and culture Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and address patient concerns professionally Help patients understand the value of their treatment plan and overcome scheduling objections Facilitate communication between patients, therapists, and administrative departments Operational Support Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Monitor and order office supplies as needed Assist with marketing initiatives including patient outreach, social media content, newsletters, and community events Support communication between billing, marketing, and clinical teams Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance standards Handle cash, credit card transactions, and financial responsibilities accurately Reporting & Accountability Monitor schedule utilization, cancellations, no-shows, collections, and patient retention metrics Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic growth initiatives Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable handling financial transactions and collections Experience with scheduling software, EMR systems Healthcare, physical therapy, chiropractic, medical office, or customer service experience preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation Consistent daytime schedule (7:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Supportive and positive team culture Opportunity for professional growth and development Meaningful work helping patients improve their health and quality of life Our Mission At Alpenglow Physical Therapy, we are committed to helping people move better, feel better, and live better. Pay:
