Job Description

Description Position Summary:
The Patient Services Coordinator provides a full range of receptionist and clerical supportive services including greeting visitors, providing general information to patients either in person or on the telephone, maintains the mulit-phone line system, interviews patients for pertinent account information, verifies patient insurance coverage/eligibility, and enters new patient information into the electronic medical record. The Patient Services Coordinator protects the privacy of patients, physicians and employees in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service excellence, possess a high standard of communication skills, and enjoy working with the public.
Schedule:
Full-Time, FTE (1.0)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. A minimum of one to three years related healthcare experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish are preferred.
