The Position:

Surgery Director Employment status: Full Time Hours per two-week pay period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee nursing staffing levels, scheduling and assignments to meet patient care needs and budgetary constraints. Manage nursing budgets, expenses, and resources effectively, optimizing cost-efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Provide clinical expertise, consultation, and support to nurses in complex patient cases or challenging situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years nursing management experience Education BSN preferred Certifications and Licenses Active MT nursing license AORN preferred

Essential duties of the position include overall management and leadership of the surgery department, ensures the delivery of high-quality nursing care, and financial management of the department.
