Job Description

Description The Springs at Whitefish is seeking a Health Services Administrator to lead the daily operations of our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a key role in ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an articulate and inspiring leader with strong management skills, a passion for senior care, and a proven ability to develop and support high-performing teams. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with the Executive Director to recruit, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, coach, and, when necessary, terminate employees. Manage the Health Services department budget and maintain fiscal responsibility. Lead employee education and development through orientation, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities. Ensure resident service needs are identified and addressed through assessments, evaluations, and individualized service planning. Provide dynamic leadership that motivates and empowers team members to perform at the highest standards. Keep the Executive Director informed of community operations, challenges, and significant issues requiring guidance or support. Partner with department leaders to achieve positive resident and operational outcomes. Foster a workplace culture where employees feel valued, respected, and supported. Promote the core principles of assisted living, including: Choice Independence Privacy Individuality Dignity A homelike environment Qualifications Current and valid Montana Assisted Living Administrator's License. Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Senior Housing. Previous experience as a Caregiver, Medication Technician, or Resident Services Coordinator preferred. Proven experience managing teams and supervising employees. Strong leadership, communication, and staff development skills. Proficiency with computers and multiple software applications. Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
