- Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health clinic.

As Clinical Director, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and advancing clinical research initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Note:
Would consider a well, seasoned BCBA to possibly start this role. Duties Lead and supervise clinical teams providing individual, group, and family counseling across behavioral health, mental health, and pediatric settings. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols aligned with best practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral management strategies. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations using
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems, and treatment planning to ensure comprehensive patient care. Manage medical documentation, patient records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality. Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises. Facilitate clinical research projects related to mental health disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care, and other behavioral health topics. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, special education professionals, and medical staff to optimize case management and service delivery. Ensure all clinical activities adhere to legal standards such as CPT coding for billing purposes and proper documentation of medical terminology. Requirements Proven experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling with a focus on pediatrics, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or disabilities. Extensive knowledge of evidence-based therapies including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management techniques. Strong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, and working with individuals experiencing trauma or PTSD. Familiarity with medical records systems, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing clinical teams in hospital or outpatient settings. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments effectively while utilizing medical terminology accurately. Excellent communication skills for working with children, families, healthcare providers, educators, and community partners. Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Certification in behavioral health modalities such as CPT coding or other relevant credentials is preferred but not required.
