Job Description

Voices Together is a not-for-profit organization that provides Voices Music Therapy (VMT) to Neurodivergent clients and clients with mental health needs. Our proprietary model, VMT, empowers neurodivergent individuals to express themselves and engage with others.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Clinical Manager will ensure the quality of services provided to students/clients, coordinate day-to-day operations of the clinical staff, and recommend and implement changes that improve the delivery of services.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Regional Clinical Supervisors and indirectly supervises clinical staff; evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for employment actions. Directs the daily operations of the clinical team with guidance from the Director of Clinical Services
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for quality assurance according to the Voices Music Therapy (VMT) model across the clinical staff's service delivery, including clinical care and documentation Recommends changes to improve service delivery and implements changes and new program adaptations and modifications Responsible for program infrastructure; work closely with Human Resources to ensure adequate staffing Regularly observes clinical staff to ensure compliance with organization's standard for service delivery and clinical outcomes; provides feedback as necessary Identifies ideal classrooms or groups for outreach observations Responsible for reporting and documenting responses to Level II and III incidents in the Incident Response Improvement System (IRIS) Ensures effective communication across clinical team; regularly works with Director of Clinical Services and Programming team to ensure consistency Adheres to Voices Together's policies and procedures as well as AMTA Code of Ethics; holds clinical team accountable Responsible for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Clinical staff Meets regularly with key personnel in Finance, Programming, Development & HR departments to ensure interdisciplinary approach to growth and development. Meet regularly with Director of Clinical Services to report out, identify needs, and support growth of clinical team Participates in training and onboarding of newly hired Music Therapists Collaborates with Clinical Training & Research Manager to ensure clinical continuity across clinical programs and service areas In conjunction with Director of Clinical Services, collaborates on VMT Certification Process and reviews fidelity scoring methods with clinical leadership team Provides field instruction for the clinical team as opportunities permit Will lead multiple Music Therapy sessions each week in the clinic setting Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) Must hold a Master's in Music Therapy (MMT) At least four years (6+) academic or professional experience in music therapy VMT Certified or able to eligible for certification within first year in this role Prior experience managing or supervising clinical staff Prior experience developing, implementing and establishing programming for agencies, hospitals or institution
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Experience working in a social service environment and familiarity with not-for-profit best practices Experience in a fast-paced, growing company and/or demonstrated effectiveness in a medium-sized organization where the role includes both strategic and hands-on responsibilities Ability to lead, work independently, and work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times
Pay:
$83,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
