Job Description Summary:
Overview He/she will work with the various departments of the Health System including Lift Health & Wellness, Employer Services, Disease Management, Physician Clinics, and other wellness related entities of WTH to develop strategies and establish programs for corporate clients to improve the health metrics of their employees. The Director for Corporate Health and Wellness is a position that combines strategic planning, outside sales, account management, and coordination of services required to meet the needs of our corporate clients. Responsibilities Provide strategic input and leadership in the development of programs that address employee fitness and wellness. Provides supervision and oversight of all industry based clinics and the associated staff. Serves as the liason between the Corporate Client and the various heatlh & wellness services provided by WTH. Collaborates with West Tennessee Healthcare business and wellness related departments including but not limited to employer services, managed care, physical therapy, and business development in the development and implementation of comprehensive wellness programs for corporate groups. These programs may include but are not limited to a variety of educational classes, incentive programs, exercise programs which are deemed appropriate, desirable, innovative, HIPAA compliant and of benefit to that particular corporate group which may include but is not limited to combating and or/ preventing obesity, inactivity, diabetes, heart disease, stroke and a variety of other disease processes which may be positively influenced by improving lifestyle choices. Monitors, evaluates and reports on the effectiveness of wellness programs based on objective and measureable outcomes data and provides these reports to his or her supervisor and to the corporate wellness representative on a regular basis. Provides objective and measurable functional health and wellness outcomes data to the individuals and corporate leaders while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate corporate satisfaction surveys in order to monitor and improve programming based on the needs and desires of the individuals, corporations and community groups. Promotes WTH and specific programs / initiatives within the organization & LIFt Wellness Center including but not limited to personal training, group fitness classes, educational classes and membership to corporate groups and individuals. Works in conjunction with the membership/ sales manager to market and implement corporate membership programs which result in Wellness Center memberships when Attends health fairs, conducts speaking engagements, provides health and wellness education and implements health and wellness programs in order to fulfill corporate health and wellness contracts and to market and establish additional corporate contracts Coordinates onsite testing, assessments, and reassessments for employees as needed for client programs. Along with input from the wellness center clinicians and personal trainers as needed, designs, implements and supervises specific exercise prescriptions within the corporate environment for individuals with different fitness levels, various ages, various medical conditions in conjunction with the individual's goals and the corporate wellness initiative. Maintain relevant licensure/ certification and obtain additional education/ certifications as needed to retain current corporate program members and recruit new members. Contribute to the wellness center and employer services newsletters. Collaborate as needed with WTH Employee Health Services and Human Resources Dept. regarding WTH health & wellness programs/activities for system employees. Performs related responsibilities as required or directed. Qualifications
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Health/ Wellness, Marketing, Human Resources or other health- related field
LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION
BLS and AED certification obtained in the first 30 days of employment Valid Driver's license
EXPERIENCE
5 years experience in wellness coaching, corporate health and wellness, exercise prescription, marketing, human resources, benefits or personal training
