Job Posting:
Front Office & Patient Coordinator Location:
South Charlotte, NC Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and friendly Front Office & Patient Coordinator to join our small medical office in South Charlotte. This key role involves a blend of administrative and patient-facing responsibilities, including patient check-in/check-out, answering and making phone calls, and coordinating patient care. Calling other provider and marketing is also needed to grow. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, a team player, and have a strong work ethic with a commitment to supporting smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and accuracy. Answer incoming calls, address patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and assist with patient follow-up calls. Coordinate patient care by ensuring seamless communication between the front office, providers, and lab staff. Perform meticulous paperwork and charting tasks, including filing patient documents and learning electronic health records (EHR) and practice software for workflow management. Maintain organized patient records and contribute to the efficient flow of office operations.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with patients, providers, and team leads. High attention to detail with a commitment to thorough and accurate documentation. Reliable work ethic with a punctual and results-driven approach to meeting office demands. Self-starter mentality with motivation to proactively assist in tasks beyond routine responsibilities. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, electronic health records, and office workflows. Positive, friendly, and professional attitude with a customer service-oriented approach.
