Full time, M-F, 8a-5p MHA, MPH, or related preferred 2 years' experience required Pay Range $47.50 - $71.25 The Atrium Health Acute Care Surgery Network (ACSN) is recruiting a Program Manager to support and facilitate the integration and advancement of care for acutely ill and injured patients with general surgical conditions managed within the Atrium Health facilities of the greater Charlotte area (GCA). The ACSN supports both the expansion and integration of facility capabilities to optimize the care of patients with urgent and critical conditions including emergency general surgery, surgically critically ill, and trauma patients in more than ten Atrium Health GCA facilities. The ACSN Program Manager will work with the network leadership to provide strategic, operational, and tactical support for the network and its mission. Since its initiation in the third quarter of 2020, ACSN has supported the advancement of care models for the urgent population to improve access, throughput, and clinical outcomes. Ongoing and developmental activities supported by the ACSN Manager will include but are not limited to: Advancement of EGS quality structures and integration and advancement of the American College of Surgeons EGS-Verification Program certification within the GCA. Expansion of surgical intensivist engagement in multidisciplinary critical care support for critically ill surgical patients Expansion and integration of regional trauma facilities Evidence-based guideline development, access, and utilization compliance monitoring ACS - DataMart development to support quality assessment and improvement programs ACSN - Quality Assessment and Process Improvement Structure with the development of risk-adjusted condition-specific metrics ACSN Provider Education Structure to enable post-operative management of higher-acuity patients across facilities of the GCA ACSN
collaborative programs with anesthesia & perioperative medicine, emergency medicine, gastroenterology, radiology, and transfusion medicine. The program manager will be responsible for strategic development and implementation, operational support for expansion and integration, and tactical management of documents, meetings and ongoing initiatives. Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Experience Required:
Typically requires 5 years of experience in a leadership role within health care, that includes developing financial budgets. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Prior experience managing multiple projects and developing financial budgets for multi-department and multi-site locations. Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication (both oral and written), decision-making, and problem-solving skills essential. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management and administration. Must possess strong analytical and computer skills including presentation and training in a large group setting. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
This position requires travel, so the incumbent will be exposed to weather and road conditions. May be exposed to human blood and body fluids on an infrequent basis and must therefore wear protective apparel as needed.
