Job Description

Overview The Patient Services Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients within our healthcare facility. This position involves a combination of administrative support and direct patient interaction, making it essential for candidates to possess strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and a friendly demeanor. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing office tasks while demonstrating knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in a dental or medical office setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance information. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and streamline office operations. Process patient forms and ensure compliance with health regulations. Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Assist in the management of inventory for office supplies and medical materials. Skills Proficiency in office management practices with a focus on customer service. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to both dental and medical offices. Experience in providing medical administrative support, including scheduling and record management. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent organizational skills. This role is ideal for individuals looking to contribute positively to patient experiences while working within a dynamic healthcare environment.
