Executive Director About Us 1Eleven Recovery is a client-centered behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment organization dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through recovery by fostering hope, healing, and long-term wellness. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Director to lead our clinical team, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold the highest standards of quality care. Position Summary The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, supervising licensed clinicians, maintaining compliance with North Carolina and accreditation standards, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in addiction treatment, mental health services, and program development. Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to clinical staff.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable North Carolina regulations, Medicaid requirements, HIPAA, and accreditation standards (CARF and/or Joint Commission preferred).
  • Conduct regular clinical supervision and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in program development and expansion efforts.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, peer support specialists, and administrative staff to ensure integrated care.
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Manage clinical scheduling and caseload distribution.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and complex clinical cases.
Qualifications Required:
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Active unrestricted North Carolina licensure as one of the following:
  • LCMHC
  • LCSW
  • LMFT
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, ASAM criteria, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
  • LCAS or LCAS-A credential.
  • Experience with CARF or Joint Commission accreditation.
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification. Benefits
