This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across our practice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will serve as a liaison between providers, staff, and administration while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment. What You'll Do Leadership & Staff Management Supervise, mentor, and develop medical assistants and laboratory staff Manage staffing schedules, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and support employee growth Address staff concerns, performance issues, and patient feedback Clinical Operations Ensure adherence to clinical standards, scope of practice, and policies Oversee accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Improve workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction Support providers and assist with patient care as needed Laboratory Oversight Oversee specimen collection, testing, and processing Ensure accuracy of lab results and compliance with protocols Review and monitor equipment, logs, and laboratory procedures Collaborate with reference labs and partner organizations (e.g., LabCorp, Natera) Compliance, Quality & Safety Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, CMS, and other regulations Lead Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives Serve as Safety Officer, overseeing training, inspections, and incident response Manage workplace safety programs and employee health tracking Operations & Administration Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities Track key performance indicators and drive process improvements Support ongoing technology and system enhancements Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Active clinical certification (CMA, RMA, LPN, or RN) Minimum 5 years of clinical experience Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field Previous supervisory or management experience Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven problem-solving and decision-making capability Knowledge of clinical and laboratory best practices Familiarity with regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, CMS) Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare technology Work Environment Fast-paced clinical and laboratory setting Frequent standing, walking, and multitasking Exposure to biohazards and patient care environments Occasional evenings or weekends as needed
