Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience from appointment scheduling to medical record management. Your proactive communication and organizational skills will help facilitate efficient clinic operations, enhance patient satisfaction, and support accurate medical documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring timely scheduling and rescheduling as needed Collect, organize, and maintain accurate medical records and documentation within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, follow-up instructions, and necessary documentation Assist with billing processes by understanding medical billing procedures and supporting medical collection efforts when necessary Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and proper coding for procedures and diagnoses Support the clinical team by managing incoming calls, scheduling patient visits, and handling administrative tasks efficiently Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and coding practices including
DRG, CPT
coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding systems Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data entry Understanding of medical billing processes and collection procedures Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail in managing sensitive patient information and adhering to privacy regulations Join our team as a Patient Coordinator to make a meaningful difference in patients' healthcare journeys!
