Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by providing administrative support in a hearing healthcare setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services. Schedule patient appointments and manage the calendar to optimize efficiency. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist with insurance verification and processing, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers to facilitate effective care. Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations. Support the administrative team with various tasks as needed to enhance overall office functionality. Requirements Previous experience in a healthcare office is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
