Nutrition Clinical Nutrition Manager Apply Now Search all jobs Job Description Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at Outer Banks Health , a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the beautiful coastal community of Nags Head, North Carolina—just a block from the ocean! This is a unique opportunity for an independent and motivated clinician who enjoys autonomy and variety in their role. As the sole Dietitian on-site , you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nutrition care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. What You'll Do Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling of general and complex patients and their families per the Nutrition Care Process model. Actively participate in daily multidisciplinary rounding with care team members. Provide education to patients, staff and community through wellness presentations as assigned. Provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program; Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects; Ensure regulatory and company standards are being upheld. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Management Experience:
At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
Minimum Functional Experience:
