Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Director to oversee the daily operations of a luxury medical spa and wellness practice. This individual will serve as the operational leader of the business, ensuring exceptional client experiences, strong team performance, and operational excellence across all departments. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about leading teams. This role requires someone who can balance the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of a spa with the structure and accountability required in a medical aesthetics environment. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Leadership Oversee all day-to-day business operations and clinic flow. Maintain luxury hospitality standards and exceptional client experiences. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements. Support leadership initiatives and operational growth strategies. Ensure smooth scheduling, workflow management, and departmental collaboration. Team Management & Development Lead, coach, and support team members across all departments. Manage scheduling, accountability, performance reviews, and staff development. Conduct regular team meetings and departmental touchpoints. Foster a positive, collaborative, and drama-free workplace culture. Support employee engagement, appreciation initiatives, and team-building activities. Client Experience Ensure every client receives an exceptional experience from consultation through follow-up. Resolve client concerns professionally and effectively. Continuously identify opportunities to elevate the guest experience. Financial & Business Performance Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including: Service revenue Retail revenue Client retention New patient/client acquisition Rebooking rates Provider utilization Sales per hour and room utilization Retail-to-service ratio Assist with inventory management and retail performance initiatives. Analyze business trends and recommend growth opportunities. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance across esthetics, massage therapy, injectables, laser treatments, and wellness services. Maintain operational consistency and adherence to company policies and procedures. Support safety standards and quality assurance initiatives. Marketing & Brand Support Support events, promotions, and community outreach initiatives. Capture brand-aligned content when appropriate and with client consent. Collaborate on strategies to enhance client engagement and brand visibility. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a medical spa, aesthetic practice, wellness clinic, or medical office. Proven experience leading teams and managing operations. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience monitoring KPIs and driving business performance. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Background in luxury hospitality, aesthetics, wellness, or medical practice management. Experience overseeing retail sales and service-based businesses. Familiarity with scheduling, inventory management, and operational reporting.
