    • Position Summary
    • The
    • Hospice Administrator / Director of Operations
    • is responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and financial management of hospice services. This role ensures compliance with
    • Medicare Conditions of Participation
    • , state and federal regulations, and organizational policies while driving quality outcomes, team engagement, and sustainable growth.
    • Key Responsibilities
    • + Provide overall leadership and direction for hospice operations and daily agency functions + Ensure full compliance with
    • Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation
    • , state regulations, and accrediting standards + Oversee Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (
    • QAPI
    • ), utilization review, and survey readiness + Lead and support the
    • Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)
    • and promote collaboration across all hospice disciplines + Recruit, hire, develop, and retain qualified clinical and administrative staff + Manage budgets, financial performance, and census goals + Ensure high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centered hospice care delivery + Serve as liaison with the Governing Body, community partners, and regulatory agencies + Promote a positive, mission‑driven culture aligned with hospice values •Qualifications•Required•+ Bachelor's degree in healthcare, human services, administration, or related field + Minimum •two (2) years of hospice management or leadership experience•+ Strong knowledge of •hospice regulations, Medicare compliance, and survey processes•+ Current professional license, as applicable + Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance •Preferred•+ Previous experience as a •Hospice Administrator, Executive Director, or Director of Operations•+ Demonstrated success in •staff leadership, financial oversight, and census growth•+ Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills + Commitment to the hospice philosophy and end‑of‑life care excellence •Why Join PruittHealth Hospice?
