Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Patient Experience Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring their journey through our facility is smooth, positive, and efficient. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a welcoming environment, improve patient satisfaction, and support seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical administrative processes, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Open Dental. Verify insurance coverage through insurance verification processes and coordinate billing using Dental coding standards like ADA codes Manage appointment scheduling with proficiency in Open Dental Review and update patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and explaining clinic policies Support front desk operations by answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and managing patient inquiries Collaborate with clinical staff to prepare care plans and facilitate effective communication between patients and providers Maintain organized Dental records, files, and documentation review processes to ensure data integrity and confidentiality Skills Experience with Open Dental is a plus Strong knowledge of Dental terminology, , and Medicare guidelines Proven ability to handle Dental billing, insurance verification, and documentation review accurately Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred to understand healthcare workflows thoroughly Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient service excellence and office management experience Ability to navigate multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism Strong organizational skills for filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical records Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient privacy at all times Join us in creating a positive impact on patient experiences!
