Job Summary and Qualifications Role Summary:
The Rehabilitation Clinical Lead will provide innovative rehabilitation services to Mission Health patients to improve quality and reduce cost of healthcare through efficiency improvements, as well as guide the work of rehabilitation therapists and support staff working on the rehabilitation team. Specifically, the Rehabilitation Clinical Lead will work with the interdisciplinary team to optimize physical, occupational, and/or speech language pathology. The Rehabilitation Clinical Lead shall serve as a resource for providers and staff, including contributing to the development and implementation of rehabilitation services. Evaluates patients, develops care plan to treat patients, uses procedures and techniques to change condition/function consistent with the rehabilitation diagnosis and prognosis, supervises and coordinates therapeutic care and communicates evaluation results to patients, families and appropriate staff. Teaches and mentors other staff and participates in the management of resources for patient care and organizational improvement. May provide services off-site within the scope of the job description as needed by the department.
What qualifications you will need:
Required Education:
 Bachelor of Science degree in
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology Preferred Education:
None Required License/Certification:
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.
Preferred License:
 
None Required Experience:
 Three (3) years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech language pathologist
