Gentle Family Dentistry | Wake Forest, NC At Gentle Family Dentistry, we believe every patient deserves an exceptional experience from the moment they contact our office until the completion of their care. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Coordinator who is passionate about helping people and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the clinical team through effective scheduling, communication, and administrative excellence. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience Welcome and check in patients with warmth and professionalism Ensure patients feel valued, informed, and cared for throughout their visit Assist with patient check-out and scheduling future appointments Scheduling & Communication Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule appointments efficiently to support provider productivity and patient convenience Help maintain a productive and organized schedule Administrative Support Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Verify and update patient information Assist with insurance estimates and treatment-related financial discussions Teamwork & Accountability Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver outstanding patient care Contribute to a positive, solution-focused work environment Take ownership of responsibilities and follow through on commitments Qualifications Previous dental front office or customer service experience preferred Experience with Eaglesoft or other dental software is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing exceptional customer service What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate: Creates a welcoming experience for every patient Communicates clearly and professionally Is dependable, proactive, and accountable Works well with others and contributes positively to team culture Embraces feedback and continuous improvement Benefits Competitive compensation, including multiple bonus opportunities Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Employee dental benefits Tuition reimbursement for professional development opportunities If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a team environment, and are looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with a practice that values excellence and patient care, we would love to meet you.
