The Clinic for Special Children is looking for a
PART-TIME
employee who is eager-to-learn, go-getter who is interested in growing as a Medical Professional in our Integrative Complex Needs and Primary-Care Pediatric Clinic. Responsibilities and Duties The enclosed list of responsibilities and duties is a starting point to what you will do at the Clinic (and some of these may be removed to best reflect all staff strengths and weaknesses.) These responsibilities change congruent to our patient needs, as well as changes with our staff (covering maternity leave or colleague vacations, unexpected employee departure, etc). We expect that whomever joins our team has a "can do" attitude and is willing to cover other work responsibilities and duties not listed here. The Clinic takes great pride in providing excellent patient care, including in the office, behind the scenes and during follow up. The Clinic is looking for the right person to join our team! Administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, referrals, requests for information, and assisting with front desk coverage. Clinical duties under the direction of providers such as, take and record vital signs, medical histories, venipuncture, etc. Lab processing, inventory and organization. Billing liaison with outside revenue cycle management company Credentialing and insurance compliance Patient care coordination Quality assurance for our patient panel Elective testing & services under the BR&T Program You may have the opportunity to learn, get educated & certified for: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Intravenous Infusions/Phlebotomy Innovate and build new programs, such as Collaborative Care Model Also not listed, but expected from all of our team, even the Founder/Doctor:
Wrangling children, some with special needs, of various size & ages Change bedding between visits Help a child or caregiver who is having a hard time Refill paper-goods as needed Wipe counters and surfaces that are sticky or icky Pick up a mess and generally tidy up as needed Clean up bodily fluids Bring labs, laundry or what not to appropriate areas Generally, be happy to be helpful to your coworkers, clinic vendors & patients Required:
Associate Degree, medical professional certification, or higher level of education Work autonomously on tasks (post-training) Team player for both clinical and administrative needs High level of integrity in patient care and customer service Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task Problem solving and analytical skills Organization skills with attention to detail Pediatric and/or Complex Needs experience preferred About the Clinic:
