Family Services EC Wilson, NC 27893 $72,390.56 - $87,180.03 a year - Part-time $72,390.56 - $87,180.03 a year - Part-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead our behavioral health and mental health services. In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a collaborative environment for staff and clients alike. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practices, compliance with healthcare regulations, and innovative treatment approaches. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals with diverse mental health needs across various settings. Duties Provide strategic leadership and supervision to clinical teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards Oversee patient assessments, intake processes, and treatment planning for individuals with mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and substance use disorders Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs including psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and group therapy sessions Ensure accurate medical documentation, electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate crisis intervention efforts and manage crisis situations effectively to ensure patient safety and well-being Facilitate case management activities, including family involvement, community care planning, and hospital or outpatient service integration Lead clinical research initiatives, data collection efforts, and quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes Skills Extensive experience in behavioral health, mental health counseling, and clinical supervision with a strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation (ICD-10/ICD-9 coding) Proficiency in crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies for diverse populations including pediatrics, adults with PTSD or co-occurring disorders Demonstrated expertise in working with children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and neurodevelopmental conditions Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding, ICD coding systems, and electronic health record systems (EMR/EHR) Skilled in motivational interviewing, social work practices, addiction counseling, behavior management, and special education approaches Proven management experience overseeing clinical staff including supervising clinicians in individual/group counseling settings Ability to coordinate clinical research projects while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and state licensing requirements Join us as a Clinical Director to lead innovative mental health services that transform lives.
