//api.leadconnectorhq.com/widget/form/nZ83yYQUaVma0EFSji9R Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage details prior to services Identify the need for pre-authorizations and obtain the authorization Identify the need and obtain referrals as required by insurance providers Communicate with insurance companies regarding benefits Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage, co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs and Coordination of Benefits Identify and resolve patient concerns in a timely manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records in the system Coordinate with Patient Care Coordinators, Billing and clinical staff to ensure proper documentation for claims Point of contact for internal insurance and collections questions from non-billing staff Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and organizational policies Overseeing insurance verification accuracy completed by other non-billing staff members Train new non-billing users in insurance verification process Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) Previous experience in insurance coordination, medical billing, or a related field Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and terminology (e.g., PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid) Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
Experience with claims denial management and appeals Understanding of coding (CPT, ICD-10) for Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapists Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
