Job Summary :
The Team Lead - Rehab Therapy is responsible for leading and managing a team of recruiters focused on placing physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists across travel assignments nationwide. This role is crucial to the overall success of the Rehab Therapy division, directly impacting branch performance, meeting sales and recruiting goals, and developing high-performing recruiting professionals. In this dual-role position, you will maintain your own recruiting desk while mentoring Junior and Senior Recruiters to improve their performance and drive success. You will build strong relationships with therapy candidates, understand their career goals, and guide them through the travel healthcare process. Internally, you will collaborate across departments to help meet client expectations and optimize fill rates, revenue, and profitability.
Responsibilities :
Maintain a minimum of 15 active Travelers on your personal desk. Achieve a target of 20 Travelers onboarded over a designated time period. Provide coaching and day-to-day support to Junior and Senior Recruiters through training, shadowing, and performance feedback. Address team member concerns promptly and effectively to foster a productive, positive work environment. Educate recruiters on effective candidate sourcing, selling, and closing strategies. Consistently exceed daily and weekly KPIs for team and individual performance metrics. Source and recruit qualified rehab therapy professionals using job boards, CRM tools, and outbound communication strategies. Match candidates with opportunities that align with their licensure, skills, and preferences. Build and nurture long-term relationships with travel therapy professionals. Uphold OneStaff Medical's reputation and core values in all interactions. Keep internal systems updated with accurate candidate information, availability, and touchpoints. Use consultative selling techniques to uncover candidate needs and secure long-term engagements. Educate candidates about market trends, compensation, and licensing processes to set realistic expectations and foster trust. Demonstrate urgency and follow-through to move candidates swiftly through the hiring and onboarding process.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Experience in recruiting or staffing within the healthcare industry is strongly preferred. Proven leadership abilities and a track record of mentoring or managing team members. Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CRM or ATS software. Energetic, motivated, and coachable team player with a self-starter mentality. Strong sense of urgency and accountability. Ability to lead by example while consistently meeting or exceeding personal metrics.
