May 18, 2026 Full-Time On-site Locations Showing 1 location Woodsville, NH 03785, USA Job Details Description Cottage Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as Director of Perioperative Services. This role provides clinical, operational, and administrative oversight for Surgical Services within our rural critical access hospital. The Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for leading and managing daily operations across the Operating Room, Anesthesia, Central Supply, Ambulatory Surgery, Pre-Admission, Outpatient Surgery, and Post Anesthesia Care areas. This leader will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while maintaining strong physician and staff relationships.Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee daily operations of Perioperative Services
- Provide leadership for Operating Room, Anesthesia, Central Supply, Ambulatory Surgery, Pre-Admission, and PACU services
- Supervise, support, and evaluate staff performance across all assigned departments
- Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in perioperative patient care delivery
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital departments to support strong patient outcomes
- Promote positive physician and staff relationships
- Support staffing, workflow management, and departmental operations
- Maintain compliance with hospital goals, policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and operational initiatives
- Ensure a collaborative and patient-centered environment across perioperative services
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the State of New Hampshire or ability to obtain
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS required within one year
- Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated administrative and supervisory experience
- 3-5 years of perioperative experience required
