PM Payrate:
$21 per hour We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to support our Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension program. This role is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, procedures, and surgeries while providing exceptional front-desk and customer service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule procedures, surgeries, testing, and follow-up appointments Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and obtain authorizations Manage patient check-in/check-out and provide post-visit instructions Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative care requirements Handle high-volume phone calls and route messages appropriately Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Minimum 2 years of healthcare or medical office experience Strong data entry, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines preferred Experience with Epic EMR, cardiology, surgical scheduling, or
CPT/ICD-10
