Job Description

Busy chiropractic and physical therapy office seeking a dependable, energetic, and highly organized Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our team on Fridays. This is primarily a front desk and administrative role in a fast-paced healthcare office. Occasional assistance in the therapy area may also be needed, including preparing hot/cold packs and sanitizing treatment areas between patients. We are specifically looking for someone who: Is able to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Is very comfortable with computers and learning office software/EHR systems Speaks confidently and professionally on the phone Is proactive, dependable, and able to communicate well with patients and staff
Schedule:
Fridays only: 9:00 AM - 7:00
PM Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls Check patients in and out Schedule appointments using the EHR system Respond to office emails Review incoming faxes and properly file/scan documents Communicate important incoming information to staff/providers Contact provider offices for prescriptions, notes, or documentation as needed Assist with basic therapy support tasks when needed General office organization and end-of-day cleanup tasks
Qualifications:
Prior front desk, administrative, or medical office experience preferred Strong computer skills required Comfortable handling frequent phone communication Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Friendly, professional, and reliable
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Application Question(s): Describe your computer experience, including any scheduling software, EHR systems, or office programs you have used. This is a fast-paced office where multitasking is very important. Can you give an example of a time you successfully handled multiple tasks at once? This position requires frequent phone communication with patients and provider offices throughout the day. Please describe your experience handling phone calls in a busy office setting.
