Job Description

North Ameican Medical Associates seeks an experienced Billing Manager to lead end-to-end revenue cycle operations for both Physician/Professional Servicecs and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) facility billing. This role owns Revenue Integrity, compliant charge capture and optomized reimbursesment across in-network and out-of network payers, wth proven expertise in Workers' Compensaton (WC) and Personal Injury (PIP) The Billing Manager oversees all aspects of the medical billing and revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate, timely reimbursement and compliance with payer regulations. This role includes direct oversight of insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and procedure authorization workflows , ensuring services are authorized prior to care delivery to minimize denials and revenue loss. Key Responsibilities 1. Revenue Cycle & Billing Oversight Manage daily operations of billing, coding, charge capture, and collections Ensure timely claim submission to insurers (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding claims Analyze denial trends and implement corrective actions Oversee payment posting and reconciliation processes Maintain compliance with payer contracts and regulatory guidelines The role requires strong data analytics capability to access performance, identify trents, quantify revenue risk/opportunity, and guide operational and payers strategies decisions, The Biling Manager will provide direct staff oversight, accountability, and coaching internal billing and AR teams. Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise billing specialists, AR staff, and authorization coordinators Train staff on payer requirements, coding updates, and authorization protocols Set performance metrics (e.g., clean claim rate, authorization turnaround time) Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Manage staffing schedules to ensure workflow efficiency Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise billing specialists, AR staff, and authorization coordinators Train staff on payer requirements, coding updates, and authorization protocols Set performance metrics (e.g., clean claim rate, authorization turnaround time) Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Manage staffing schedules to ensure workflow efficiency Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise billing specialists, AR staff, and authorization coordinators Train staff on payer requirements, coding updates, and authorization protocols Set performance metrics (e.g., clean claim rate, authorization turnaround time) Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Manage staffing schedules to ensure workflow efficiency Team Leadership & Staff Management Supervise billing specialists, AR staff, and authorization coordinators Train staff on payer requirements, coding updates, and authorization protocols Set performance metrics (e.g., clean claim rate, authorization turnaround time) Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching Manage staffing schedules to ensure workflow efficiency Reporting & Analytics Generate and analyze reports on: Revenue cycle performance Authorization turnaround times and approval rates Denial rates (especially authorization-related denials) Identify trends and implement process improvements Report KPIs to leadership Exempt position: $60,000 and up depending on experience
