Job Description

We are growing!
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday 9-3, Friday 8-12. We have multiple locations but the majority of time will be in the Monroe office.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at New Jersey Hearing & Tinnitus Center. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming environment and efficient management of front office duties. Responsibilities Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Conduct insurance verification and authorization processes Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry Utilize Blueprint software for patient scheduling and billing tasks Manage phone systems to handle patient inquiries and appointment scheduling as well as confirming appointments Checking in hearing aids and packaging to send out to manufacturers Deliver outstanding customer service to patients both in-person and over the phone and able to communicate effectively with Hard of Hearing people Processing patient check-ins and check-outs as well as collecting copays and payments Coordinating with healthcare providers and staff for smooth patient flow Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
  • Qualifications Previous experience in an office setting, preferably in a healthcare environment Strong knowledge of medical office procedures Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with computers and office software (Word, Excel, scheduling software)
