We are looking for a dependable, career-minded professional seeking a long-term home with a growing, patient-centered orthodontic practice. Schedule Office Hours:
Monday:
7:30 a.m.•5:00 p.m.
Tuesday:
8:30 a.m.•6:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
7:30 a.m.•5:00 p.m.
Thursday:
7:30 a.m.•5:00 p.m. Candidates must be able to consistently and reliably work the schedule above each week. We are seeking a dependable, long-term team member who values punctuality and attendance and can commit to maintaining this schedule on an ongoing basis. Responsibilities Serve as the lead member of our front office team and help ensure an exceptional patient experience Greet and welcome patients, parents, and caregivers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails and respond to patient inquiries Schedule appointments and help coordinate the daily schedule Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate patient information Verify and enter insurance information Create and maintain patient records within the practice management system Post charges and collect payments Manage inventories of office and clinical supplies Perform general administrative and operational duties Support marketing and practice growth initiatives Assist with training and supporting other team members Deliver varying degrees of direct patient care depending upon credentials and licensure Qualifications Required Minimum of three (3) years of dental and/or orthodontic front desk and/or clinical experience Strong knowledge of dental terminology Experience with dental practice management software Outstanding communication and customer service skills Excellent telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Dependable, professional, and seeking a long-term position Highly Preferred Orthodontic front desk experience Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and workflows Active New Jersey X-ray License Active New Jersey Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation of $24•30 per hour , based on experience Full-time position (approximately 32 hours per week) Paid Time Off (PTO) Retirement plan Health care stipend Employee and family orthodontic treatment discounts Employee referral bonuses Supportive and collaborative team environment Beautiful Upper Montclair location Opportunity for long-term growth and stability Certain benefits are subject to eligibility and length-of-service requirements.
