Surgical Coordinator

Surgical Coordinator A busy neurosurgery practice seeks an experienced scheduling coordinator. The candidate must have 2-3 years of surgical coordinator experience, and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. The various duties for this position consist of contacting prospective surgical and interventional patients to schedule their prospective procedures, pre-operative testing, and/or exams as needed. Prepare and provide patients with pre-op packets, advice/counseling of food, fluids, and medication restrictions prior to surgery. Answering phones, handling messages, working reception desk. Experience with bookings and consents a plus. Excellent communication and phone skills needed. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a must. Must have surgical coordinator experience. (Minimum of 2 years) Must be willing to travel to all satellite offices; Paramus, North Bergen, Edison, Mount Laurel, Hamilton, Jersey City.
