Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION
Direct oversight of all Community Rehabilitation Program operations and New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation regulations. Lead role as case management supervisor assuring that the training and services provided to consumers by case management staff are appropriate and effective to that individual. Lead evaluator assessing work capabilities and behaviors and making recommendations concerning vocational goals and additional services. This position is responsible for assisting with DOL Wage and Hour compliance and the details related to maintaining the 14C certificate and oversight of SETWorks for all DVRS programs. This position provides immediate supervision to the Production Supervisor and Career Development Case Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Direct oversight of all CRP operations, maintaining DVRS regulations, CARF standards and consumer quality programming. 2. Coordinate intake for Evaluation, both traditional and CBWE referrals and DVR Extended referrals. 3. Perform prevocational evaluation on referrals admitted to evaluation, prepare written evaluation reports with recommendations for vocational goals and program services. 4. Complete invoice billing for services. 5. Provide vocational case management to consumers. Aid in the development of consumers' vocational knowledge, skills, and goal planning through case management services. 6. Observe and report on quality and quantity of consumers' performance, general progress, goal attainment, vocational and/or personal needs. Relay information to liaison agencies, facility staff, family, consumer, etc. as required by designated program standards. Record observations and complete progress reports. 7. Record documentation pertinent to case management, updating as required. Maintain facility case record standards as required by CARF, Abilities' policies, Quality Assurance, CCW requirements and interrelated agency services. Enter, maintain, and update records in the Setworks system. 8. Schedule and attend staff meetings involving consumer progress, Evaluation program, Individual Plans, Admission reviews, Program Evaluation, Quality Assurance, CARF standards, and others as deemed necessary. Complete documentation as applicable. 9. Gather monthly and annual statistical information. Record Daily Attendance Records for DVR Extended Employment, Evaluation, and Employee Development. File consumer production records. 10. Manage consumers' caseload through advocacy, counseling, service accessing and coordination, crisis intervention, program change facilitation, information and referral, travel arrangements, progress review and coordination of social services. 11. Aid in assisting with DOL Wage and Hour compliance and the details related to maintaining the 14C certificate. 12. Perform other functions as they relate to the department and as assigned by direct supervisor. 13. Maintain professional confidentiality of case records, control case record access, and control release of information. 14. Distribute consumer payroll, notices and general information or delegate this responsibility. 15. Will complete all mandatory trainings and professional development training hours per the direction of administration. 16. Provide supervision and guidance to other case managers in the case management department. 17. Ensure staff adheres to policies and procedures as it relates to Setworks System and other documentation systems. 18. Comply with the agency's Ethical Conduct Policy. 19. Ensure the work environment is safe, healthy and positive for consumers served.

Ability to identify needs, develop goals, and rehabilitation plans 7. Advocate for consumers with disabilities and facilitate program enhancements to benefit the consumers 8. Develop positive relations with provider agency personnel, case managers, parents, Abilities' staff and stakeholders. 9. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel 10. The ability to exercise good judgment and use common sense. 11. The ability to remain calm in crisis situations. 12. The ability to display flexibility in work assignments and overall professionalism.
EDUCATION/LICENSES
1. Bachelor's degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, social work or related field with 2 years of evaluation experience 2. Explore certification as Vocational Evaluation Specialist (CVE), registration as a Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE) or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). 3. Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to speak and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position may require lifting and long periods of standing.
TRAVEL:
Travel to Abilities locations will be required. Travel may also be required for certain training events as mandated by the state. You may be eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Pay:
$47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
