This is a full-time position with various schedules from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday
  • Friday. Good customer service skills and must enjoy working with the public. For this position to be a good fit, there are a few qualities we require candidates to possess: Basic computer literacy skills
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). We will train to use our user-friendly data Office Management Software, Excellent oral and written communication skills Well-versed in the English language with good articulation and volume
  • Many of our patients are hearing-impaired and you may be asked to speak up or repeat yourself, especially over the phone. Patience and politeness
  • Again, you may be asked to repeat yourself often or need to speak slowly and clearly, while being understanding and compassionate of others' disabilities. Courtesy and a caring, pleasant demeanor
  • Essential as you will be the first person our patients see when they arrive, or speak to when they call Attention to detail
  • To ensure we provide optimal care and keep accurate records Ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with patients and co-workers Effectively handle multiple incoming telephone lines with the ability to answer general questions and schedule appointments. Heavy patient traffic
  • meet and greet appointments and walk-ins requesting hearing aid assistance Familiarity with basic medical terminology
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in an office environment with an emphasis on customer interaction. Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding Experienced in: Posting payments
  • both insurance and patient Insurance EOB's Patient registration
