We are an established out-of-network pain management practice seeking an experienced Medical Billing Manager to lead and oversee our billing operations. Medical billing experience is required. Out-of-network billing experience is
REQUIRED.
Experience in pain management, orthopedic, or podiatry billing is highly preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day medical billing operations Review and verify medical documentation for accuracy and completeness Submit, track, and follow up on unpaid, rejected, or denied claims Manage appeals and ensure timely resolution of billing issues Process payments from insurance companies and patients Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to patient billing inquiries Generate reports and analyze billing performance metrics Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, payer requirements, and HIPAA guidelines Maintain patient confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or a related field Previous supervisory or management experience preferred Proficiency in medical billing software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Strong knowledge of out-of-network billing practices and reimbursement methodologies Knowledge of medical coding, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes Familiarity with insurance guidelines, claims processing, and reimbursement procedures Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and claim review Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment We are seeking a proactive, dependable professional who is committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.
