She will also oversee the MCO Care Coordination through the Emergency Department. Both SBIRT and MCO processes are stated mandated. The coordinator is required to be up to date on all changes and updates for such projects. There are also reports and Epic processes involved to meet such requirements. The coordinator is responsible for staffing these programs around the clock at the Emergency Department. Track and create a report for

Care Coordination activities to the state and to EPIC Oversee the transisition of MA to CHW Certification Train Nor-Lea Hospital staff on the SBIRT process as needed. Oversee the Paramedicine collaboration with Lovington EMS. Work closely with Behavioral Health Providers on referrals sent from SBIRT. Values i

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training, including customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Medical terminology, medical insurance experience preferred but not required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree Required
  • One of the following is required: NCMA
  • National Medical Assistant Certification from the National Center for Competency Testing NRCMA
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant from the National Association of Health Professionals RMA
  • Registered Medical Assistant from the American Association of Medical Personnel, American Allied Health, American Medical Technologists, or American Registry of Medical Assistants CCMA
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certificate from the National Healthcareer Association required CMA-AAM
  • Certified Medical Assistant from the American Association of Medical Assistants
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
  • or • National Registered Certified Medical Assistant Certification Required • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
