Our care team educates and empowers patients who are living with kidney pain, infections, stones, and other kidney problems. With this exciting opportunity you will be joining a seasoned team of 50 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, as well as 70+ team members across eight office locations. We are looking for a dynamic Clinical Supervisor to join our growing team. Position Summary The primary goal of the Clinical Supervisor (CS) is to ensure maximum utilization of resources within the physician practice while providing support to staff and physicians. The CS is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outpatient medical facilities. This is a working supervisor position and will be required to perform medical assistant duties and work alongside medical assistant I, medical assistant II and Lead medical assistants in clinic to support providers.
Essential Job Functions:
Employee Management:
Hire, train, and coach direct reports Manage daily staffing, schedules, and timecards. Performance Management - monthly metrics, annual evaluations, progressive discipline Conduct regular staff meetings Design and implement business strategies to help the clinic meet organizational goals. Develop protocols and procedures to improve staff productivity. Act as a liaison between patients, their families and additional care staff. Identify cost saving opportunities within the clinic. Ensure that all policies and procedures and clinical practices function in accordance with state and federal laws. Research and utilize local, national and professional benchmarking information to help set strategic and operational goals. Monitor, report and set goals to improve patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. Establish and maintain professional relationships with outside clinics, hospitals, vendors, referring physicians and referring staff. Participate in quarterly staff meetings. Initiate and maintain quality initiatives ensuring best clinical practice across all clinical functions within the practice. Responsible, either directly or through delegation, for appropriate patient health record documentation of all clinical action items; ensure adherence to regularity requirements and industry standards of care. Oversee all aspects of patient triage; ensure safe and timely practices. Ensure OSHA compliance and oversee OSHA training for all employees. Responsible for CLIA inspections, compliance, and training for all employees. Write and update clinical policy and procedures in accordance with state, local, and federal guidelines. Responsible for annual equipment calibration. Responsible for materials management including medical supply and medication orders. Monitor and coordinate Lab Tech at all KSOSN locations. Act as a liaison between providers and staff, to meet providers' clinic needs. Approval of supply and medication orders. Ensure all medical equipment is maintained and arrange repairs. Perform all levels of medical assistant duties, including administration of Anemia injections and infusions. Travel between

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum six (6) years of medical assistance experience required. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience; must be direct supervision of medical assistants. Medical assistant diploma or certification required. Knowledge and appropriate use of medical terminology required. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and computer skills. Must have at least intermediate skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
