Job Title:
Clinical Practice Coordinator Reports to: Senior Clinical Operations Manager Full Time I On-site Travel Required to UBMD Practice Sites Position Summary The Clinical Practice Coordinator reports directly to the Sr. Clinical Practice Manager and supports operational enhancements across assigned UBMD practices, ensuring coordinated, high-quality patient care. Serves as a vital link among physicians, residents, patients, and administrative teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, improving processes, and advancing the organization's mission of excellence. Key Responsibilities Facilitates operational collaboration of assigned practices working under the direction of the Sr. Clinical Practice Manager. Enhances patient care, analyzes and streamlines workflows, and improves policies. Teams with practice leaders to ensure proper performance while fostering a culture of accountability and support. Ensures timely patient/provider scheduling, visit documentation, and data management. Maintains compliance with institutions such as (but not limited to) OSHA, HIPAA, and federal regulations. Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support staff, and enhance operational efficiency. Participates in clinical staff recruitment and trainee education by providing orientation and training on practice operations, documentation, and protocol adherence. Leads on-site practice meetings in collaboration with department supervisor. Oversees internal department EPIC projects. Participates in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Ensures the integrity and confidentiality of patient data through meticulous documentation and quality assurance. Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Represents the department in cross-functional committees or institutional meetings related to clinical operations or compliance. Offers flexibility and understanding of requested tasks. Qualifications Degree in healthcare operations, business, or related field. 3+ years managing in a clinical healthcare setting. Professional, adaptable approach and commitment to continuous improvement. Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and trainees in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
