About Us Infusion First is a growing home infusion company providing high-quality infusion services throughout Western New York. We work closely with patients, pharmacies, physicians, and nurses to coordinate safe and efficient infusion care in patients' homes. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Liaison Coordinator to join our Infusion Department. Position Summary The Medical Liaison Coordinator serves as the primary point of communication between patients, pharmacies, physician offices, referral sources, and our clinical team. This role is responsible for coordinating patient referrals, scheduling infusion visits, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely communication between all parties involved in patient care. Responsibilities Coordinate new patient referrals and admissions Schedule infusion visits with patients and nursing staff Communicate with specialty pharmacies, physician offices, and referral sources Track medication deliveries and verify visit readiness Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Monitor patient schedules and assist with rescheduling when necessary Follow up on missing documentation and physician orders Assist with care coordination and ongoing patient support Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, nurses, and healthcare providers Support quality assurance and compliance initiatives Participate in department meetings and training activities Qualifications Previous healthcare, medical office, infusion, case management, or care coordination experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred What We Offer Competitive pay Stable full-time schedule Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Meaningful work helping patients receive life-changing infusion therapies Why Join Us?
